What is R2?

R2 is the leading standard for electronics repair and recycling, created and managed by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI). The R2 standard provides a common set of processes and requirements for businesses that repair and recycle used electronics, with an emphasis on quality, safety, transparency, and environmental/social responsibility.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1508108025950{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 60px !important;background-color: #f2f2f2 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Where does my equipment end up?

Most materials are sold to markets in the United States, and may be used to make new products in the jewelry, plating, electronics, automotive and creative industries.

Proceeds from the sale of these materials help offset the costs of de-manufacturing and processing the electronic waste. No materials are shipped overseas.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1508108658771{margin-bottom: -22px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1508108288155{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 60px !important;}”]
