The e-Waste Process

ITAD & E-waste Process

Our 8-Stage ITAD & E-Waste Process

Upgrading equipment or clearing out retired devices shouldn’t be stressful. Our 8 Stage e-waste process gives you a clear, secure, and efficient way to manage everything from pickup to reporting. Each stage is designed to protect your data, support your sustainability goals, and keep your organization compliant with industry standards. With a focus on transparency and value recovery, we deliver a complete e-waste summary that shows exactly how your assets were handled and where they ended up, so you get accountability at every step.

Stages

Stages

1

Start With Your Project Goals

Every e-waste process begins with a quick and clear conversation to understand your needs. We review your equipment list, timeline, security requirements, and reporting preferences. Once the scope is defined, we present a plan that outlines logistics, handling details, and any value-recovery options.

2

Pickup, Packing & Transportation

Our team arrives on-site and manages equipment removal(based on specific customer equipment). We handle everything from small office cleanouts to large enterprise projects. Chain of custody is maintained from pickup to final processing.

3

Receiving, Weighing & Secure Storage

When your equipment arrives at our facility, it’s weighed, logged, and placed in secured storage areas. Every load is documented to ensure full accountability throughout the e-waste process. All employees have passed a thorough 7 year criminal background check.

4

Audit, Sorting & Asset Inventory

We audit equipment according to your standards, model numbers, serials, asset tags, and condition details are recorded. Data-bearing devices are separated and tracked. This stage ensures a complete, accurate e-waste summary for your final reporting.

5

Data Destruction & Compliance

Data is wiped, sanitized, or physically destroyed following R2v3 requirements. We also offer onsite data destruction should your company mandate require it.

6

Test & Prepare for Reuse

Each item is tested and evaluated for reuse. Functional equipment is cleaned, tested, and prepared for resale or redeployment. Items that can’t be reused are securely processed and recycled in accordance with our certified standards.

7

Final Reports & Documentation

When the project is complete, you receive a full e-waste summary tailored to your needs. This can include: full audit reports, weight reports, certificates of destruction, certificates of recycling, invoicing and project notes. These documents support compliance, internal reporting, and sustainability goals.

8

Value Recovery Options

If your equipment still holds value, we offer purchase options, revenue-share programs, or settlement-based returns. You choose the model that works best for your organization.

Choosing a reliable partner for IT asset disposal makes a real difference. Our process gives you a clear path from collection to certified recycling, with every step documented for your records. When the work is complete, you receive an e-waste summary that’s easy to understand and ready for your internal reporting, audits, or sustainability goals. It’s a straightforward way to stay compliant, protect your data, and know your equipment was handled the right way.
